MAC7024. •. In Poipu, we stayed at The Point at Poipu. The point was more set up like a condo. Decent kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms, and a living room. Pool was nice but shallow. And the only place to order food from is the poolside bar. We stayed here because my family are Hilton Grand Vacation members.

This resort is located a bit farther out from Lihue airport compared to Marriott’s Kauai Lagoons but is still a great choice on the east side of the island by the Wailua River State Park and one of the best family resorts in Kauai, Hawaii. Location On Kauai: I would recommend staying in Kapaʻa. Koloa Landing is in Poipu (the southern part of Kauai) and while it does get more sunshine than the north shore, if you're going to Kauai, you probably want to hike and see the sights, which Poipu doesn't have as many of.
