6908527. This was a small xiD box used in bedroom I took it back to a Comcast store and received a new box all is good now . I should of known something was going wrong with it when I turned my tv on it would be fuzzy and take a minute to finally get a picture so if this is something your experiencing its time for new box. Navigate to and highlight the “Help” menu in the settings. Press to reset. Xfinity My Account App: Open the Xfinity My Account app on iOS or Android. Scroll down and select the TV tile. Choose to reset the cable box. Physical Reset: On the XG1v4-A, after clicking off the many errors, I was able to partially access the xfinity menu (the messages and settings icons were not showing, but were accessible) and issue a restart. Upon restart, the box was stuck on the "Welcome. Bienvenido. Bienvenue." screen. Powered off, restarted, still on the "Welcome. Bienvenido. Bienvenue ... I woke up this morning to my cable box stuck on the welcome screen (what it looks like when it updates every morning.) It will not move past that. So far replacing hdmi cable seems to be working, no issues with the picture being the wrong size, however now the remote power button does not work, needs a long press to turn off STB, and TV, but receiver doesn’t respond. I’m going to experiment with running hdmi to ARC input on Tv instead of the STB input.All my apps are working on my xfinity apps except HBO MAX it will load then stop and get stuck with a purple screen and the HBO MAX logo it won’t go any further. I have tried everything. Plugging out the tv , plugging out the cable box , restarting the router and plugging it back out and in. Check parental , even deleting the local cache ....
